Okay, I have a question for everyone. Who has seen the 1947 Roswell movie starring Martin Sheen? He plays a character simply known as Townsend. We don't know anymore than that. Does anyone know if there was Townsend in real life who was related to the Roswell incident? Also, in the movie is he telling the truth in the end or is it supposed to make you wonder?

I know of no Townsend, as far as documentation goes, but the character of Townsend is built from witness descriptions (minus varying skin tones) of a threatening official. He is a composite I believe, of such officials.

As for the end, of course it's to make you wonder...it's much more compelling that way....that's just good film making....
