In roughly 15 months time, I'm packing my bags and buggering off!

The plan is to cut through Egypt, the Middle East (Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran), India, Nepal, China and Russia.

Has anybody spent any time in the above countries? I'm looking for general advice.
