Why did Jens Lehmann (Germany keeper) bite the ball? What did he spit out? Was something stuck to the ball or did he just chew off a chunk of a Euro
match ball? I thought that was strange.

When did he do that? I only got to see half of the game due to my job. But Germany didn't play as good as on Sunday.
Let's see how Holland-France will play out today. I like both teams (well due to my nationality I have to like Holland ) But if my cousin was
playing, I would be more for Holland.

Don't tell me that you will secretly support France as well, the bandit
Today they expect over 50,000 orange supporters in Berne. It will be a massive crowd of orange.
Last Monday there were over 30,000 supporters and it looked like this:
I wish I could either be there or back in Prague, unfortunately I have to watch in a small town in Holland while studying for my exams...

Tonight will tell the tale of how good the dutch really are.
They ripped italy to bits, although I feel the scoreline flattered them a little.
If they can do the same to france I think they can go all the way - provided they don't implode again...
I think they may be too strong for the spanish (my other favourite) as the spaniards are a little delicate at the back, as are portugal.
COME ON HOLLAND!
Just a pity babel got injured I would have liked to see how he got on...

I feel really sorry for Babel, but on the other hand San Marco called up Boulahrouz, who we really need in the defence.
We have so many good offensive players such as Kuyt (Liverpool), Nistelrooij (Real Madrid) and Robben (Real Madrid) and Van Persie (Arsenal) backed by
Sneijder (Real Madrid) and Van der Vaart (HSV).
Robben is set to return again from his injury and should be able to play tonight.
If as good as last week, he'll be a very dangerous player tonight.
It's a pity (but also a shame) England is not there. After we had been defeated during the WC against Portugal (0-1, 16 yellow and 4 red cards) the
entire country supported England. Unfortunately, Portugal defeated England as well back then.

ITALY HAVE GONE 1-0 DOWN
I felt they were really lucky to win the world cup - I'm hoping they go out.
MDV - I'm a liverpool supporter - but unlike some of our fans, I think Kuyt is a great player who does a great job for the team without thinking of
himself first.
BTW - your avatar really distracts me but in a good way
WOW, as I was typing this Italy got one back. 1-1

Well yeah... Don't tell anyone, but I like how they play when they're on. It's fun to see guys from the Caribbean being that good. If I'm not
mistaken, Holland doesn't have anyone with ties to the Caribbean this time around.
4 years ago they had Kluivert (Curacao), Reiziger (Aruba) and of course Seedorf (with relatives like myself living in Aruba)
Still 1-1 ITA -ROM as of now.
Update: Romania misses a penalty!!!

I have a crazy feeling that the Spanish are going to win it all and end years of international underachievement. I've been wrong before though.

GREAT GAME - again, slightly flattering scoreline, but you can't argue with the way they took their goals.
Looks like the dutch are the team to beat - as long as they haven't peaked too early
Great stuff - best game so far.

Who cares about semantics!
What a great win!
Superb display from Holland - they're gonna be very hard to beat if they can keep up the level of performance they've shown in their opening 2
games.
Great Game, and Great WIN
woohoo

Should one of those not win, I will be subtracting 2000 points from you. Should one of them win I will be adding 2000 points.
Done.

I often back Holland or Italy for simple affinity to the nations but also the style of play.
A real shame England didnt even make it.
Here´s the final deal:
Budski:
2000 on Spain and Germany
- 2000 when loosing
Sky:
2000 on Holland and Croatia
- 2000 when loosing
Should I forget this thread you can also claim your prize by U2U.
However, there will be no prize to claim because Spain never wins any championship, despite their league, and Germany has a tired captain.
