I think there are at least 3 dogs confirmed to go the 'muslim paradise' , so I don't see why there wouldn't be more.

Sorry, I think the spiritual realm heaven is just for people, angels, and God. It's really just an opinion but we will be given a new heaven and a new earth and I would guess probably some new animals to go with it.

Oh yeah, if Richard Dawkins was dyslexic he'd hate "dog" too.

Actually, as far as I know animals do not have eternal soul like angels and humans. So if there are animals in Heaven, God would have to create or 'recreate' them there.

Could you please clarify what you mean when you say 'confirmed to go to the Muslim paradise'? How would one achieve this status? Presumably they fasted for Ramadan and placed their paws in Mecca?

Personally I believe andre hit the proverbial nail on the head, and set the tone for the solid posts that followed.

The only problem is: those who had devoted pets who are now in the 'realm' of the dearly departed (only purely metaphorically, I fear) have been offered little comfort either by them or me.

There may yet be a tiny glimmer of hope, however. God has a habit of keeping a veil over exactly what lies ahead, and of storing up for the future... well, words fail me.

What no eye has seen
and no ear has heard,
and what has never come
into a man's heart,
is what God has prepared
for those who love Him.

1 Corinthians 2:9

Glory. Hallelujah.

Dogs (and all animals), unlike many humans are already 'muslims' (submitters to the will of God). There were 3 specific narrations I have read, but unfortunately I cannot remember them now. One of them involved a dog that stayed and guarded a group of people while they spent 309 years asleep in a cave, and it would thus be rewarded.

I also hear that in heaven you get back all the sunglasses you sat on, keys that you lost, and socks that you lost the match for....

Is it a mistake that dog is God backwards. Does this mean that possibly, dogs are anti-christs?

Thump on with your bad selves.....thump on!
