For this I used ZBrush and 3d max 2008 using mental ray to render it out.

Awesome work! You saw something like this in a nightmare you had? Wish I could draw some of the things I've seen in mine! Or do I? Hmmm, maybe not, too scary!

Wow, that's awesome, is it rigged? Can you animate him?
I have zbrush 3.0 and max2008, I like Blender the best though, zbrush eats up my memory and is super slow for my poor compy, and max is too weird to me, I understand how to use it, but it's almost like everything is a modifer lol. I need to read some tuts on it I guess.

Great work,

-Jimmy

Thanks everyone I'm glad you liked him.

No he's not rigged at teh moment, mainly as I used a normal map wiht a 40 thousand poly mesh to speed up render times, as a reuslt this means if I do any more than look at the damn thing ...hard crash to reboot lol. So I 'could' if I redid the scene from the ground up. I do some animation for my clients so try to keep away form it when not getting paid for it....lol

But given the free time I'd probably give a go at animating him in the future. Although rendering out anaimtins takes so damn long it drives me crazy lol.
