My most annoying niece was asked the age-old question of which comes first, the chicken or the egg. Her answer is..... the chicken.

Why the chicken?
She said because the chicken has two legs, so it runs faster, therefore the chicken comes first. As in comes first.. TO THE FINISH LINE!

That silly girl. And as if an egg can run at all. At least now that she is older, she's much calmer and not as annoying as she's used to be.

She's brilliant. A real 'out-of-the-box' thinker. Seriously, she could be a genius. How old is she?

I have know the answer to this question since I was also an annoying kid - I wrote the book on annoying.

It is blatantly obvious that the Egg came before the Chicken.

First rule in an exam is to read the question (RTFQ!!)

At no point is the egg specified as a Chicken egg!

Dinosaurs laid eggs..... Ergo the Egg came first.

Creationists have it a lot easier.
In evolution it was probably the egg, because the birds that laid the first chicken egg, weren't chickens.

So the answer to the Q is:
According to evolution: the egg!
According to creation: the chicken!
