After the install I needed to put in office disk-like after an office update.

I also had my shortcuts broken for adawear 2008, spybot search and distroy, defraggler.

Hmmm... I'll try it out later today to see if I have the same problems as mrmonsoon.

Shortcuts are no big thing. But office setup running is annoying.

I installed SP3 on Tuesday when Microsoft officially pushed it out.

I understand that the version that was leaked early had bugs.

My installation was unremarkable and I have noticed no difference at all in the function of my computer.

I understand that the service pack has improved security features that are found in Vista. I'm all for security, but I can't tell the difference. My computer is very secure as it is, however.

Same here..

I was hoping for a speed boost and a decrease in RAM usage. Didn't get any of those. Security is always good, but if you're not in a Win Server 2008 domain, you probably don't need it.

It will not to be installed at my job for anyone as of yet.

I had a whopping 1mb decrease in pagefile usage at boot!!!!!1111 (Probably due to a new layout.ini, but that's another story)... Basically Sp3 is SP2 with all the fixes and some TINNNYYY new security features.

Anyone know if O&O Defrag 8.5 works with SP3? I don't want to try for myself, because SP1 copies patched to SP2 could potentially have problems when payware defrags were used.
