Hows things?

It is a well known fact that the AboveTopSecret member meet ups in the USA are a groovy and exciting event, I have so often wished i could attend but unfortunately thats easier said then done (Untill i go on my travels).

So anyway i got to thinking that it would be a great thing if us Australian ATS members could all get together for a drink and a chat or something like that too.

It would be great to get the opportunity to catch up with those that have become our friends and meet those that we haven't got to know on the boards yet.


However before we can make this happen it would be good to know who is keen about the idea, i know i am

Ok so if your interested let us know what state your in and what you think about the idea and then we will go from there.

Hey, what a great idea!! I tried this before, but my thread got deleted.. Anyway, it would be awsome if we could meet up. Im in Perth, but know lots of Aussies on ATS..


Maybe we can all meet up at Alice Springs, have a few and start a protest at Pine Gap

these types of meets can sometimes be hard to plan and make happen, I wish you all the best, with that said, please remember to take lots of pictures and post them here for the members who can't be there.

I liked the Pine Gap idea though. Perhaps we could go on an ATS AUS ghost hunt or UFO vigil or something? (keeping in theme )

So the "Flying to Alice Springs/Pine Gap " idea sounds good? Have a good old BBQ and a few . Would be good time..

I remember maybe 06 or early 07 Aussie ATS members had a get together or at least attempted to. Not sure if it went off but good luck with it.

I am in SA. I think Mojo is also in SA but majority are over the west...

Be good to dig up the old thread of the last catch up to see if they did in fact organise a meetup.

Thats such a good idea, Im up for a Sydney meet up. Not sure where would be good though. If anyone knows any pubs or something we could meet in that would be so cool. Actualy there is this nice old Irish pub in paramatter - I cant remember exactly where it is though.

I read the old thread and it doesn't appear that it all came together.

I think just pick the date and a central place and go for it OR get numbers of members in what state and organise little meetups for each state, each capital city.

Disclaimer:I'm new to ATS and I'm in the ACT. would love to join you but the thought of it will just have to do (finances and mobility are considering factors).

Might I suggest that members who do get together form a conspiracy to hoax the rest of us on next years april fools day lol! You know like someone starts this thread out of the blue , Aussie blue of course , stating oh I don't know , maybe something like "Struth!!! Have you heard vegemite is a kraft conspiracy against australia as the recipe was changed back in blah blah blah....to control our minds blah blah blah....ect" and then slowly but surely the rest of you hop in and add your preprogrammed 2 cents worth and then watch the rest of us come rocking and rolling out of our hidyholes protesting and seeking answers. It would be amusing I'm sure especially if you rope a yank, pom or a kiwi in. But getting the rest of us Aussies well that would just be GOLD!

I would be keen for a get together. I noticed that they have ANOTHER one coming up in Canada. (Its on ATS facebook)
Looks like this one is more than likely Perth or SYD based on replies so far. I would vote for Syd but am hoping more Brisvegans get involved.
Short of that, are there any BNE ATSers around for a mini meet?
