No, her form - except for the legs - was just fine.
What I am saying is that the image that so many people seem to be literally obsessing over is just that: an
image, the rudiments of which (the
totally dismal childhood, thwarted motherhood etc. myths) were fabricated by herself, and later turned into a literal pop "icon" by Andy Warhol. The
publication of Norman Mailer's biography in the early 1970s only fueled the phenomenon.
But, naturally, it's perfectly alright for anyone to admire anyone they wish.
Even if it is a cardboard image.
