George R.R. Martins "A Song of Ice and Fire"

Topic started on 11-4-2008 @ 01:32 AM by DesertRose

i read a lot of fantasy, and a friend introduced the George r.r. Martin series of books called "a song of ice and fire" and they are truly awesome books. There a little more adult with some of the content, but i was wondering if anyone else had read these books, and maybe your thoughts on them.

I love the books, although I haven't read Feast For Crows yet. I like the "low" fantasy feel, meaning the magical or supernatural elements are few, but when they come into the story they seem even more special because of it.

thats definitely true. i'v noticed it's even true with the other more supernatural things, like the dragons. they seem a lot more realistic than some other books i have read.
