10 Dead in UN Chopper Crash

 A UNITED Nations helicopter has crashed in Nepal, killing at least 10 people, officials said.
"We lost radio contact with a UN helicopter Monday while it was returning from Ramechhap in east Nepal," Mohan Prasad Adhikari, a senior official from
Kathmandu's Tribhuvan International Airport, said.

Horrible, the chopper crashed in bad weather, all bodies were recovered but there is no information as to the identity of the victims.
The UN has working in the region to help monitor a peace deal between the Nepal government and former rebels.

Scary thing it must be, 'going down' in a hee-lo.
Especially tragic, is thier mission of peace, not war.
A Vietnam vet friend of mine survived a bad crash, with only his leg
injured, the other two died. But his leg had lots of surgeries, and
"Frankenstienien" scars!
Another vet friend said he was scared beyond description, when the
Huey he was flying took rounds from the cong, all while he had to stay
steady at the controls during an ee-vac of wounded troops!
Brutal!
