Actually, there are a couple of others I did recently, that I haven't been able to post yet, but here's the one I finished today... It was
commissioned by a friend of mine (they are his deceased grandparents), as he wants to give it as a birthday gift to his sister.

Amazing work!!!!
Members that have talent like you really make me wish I had a talent...
I can't draw water, play the radio or sing my way out of a paper bag...
What I can do, however, is recognize real talent and you have it my friend...

I have been doing this stuff all my life. It comes very easily and naturally which is why I think anyone could do it if they had the confidence and
the right frame of mind. Oh, maybe not on this level but IMO talent is limited in belief in ones own ability. Yes, to some it is natural but with a
little training the sky's the limit!
Oh, and this is in no way an attempt to limit credit as the OP drawing is quite exquisite. Nothing but applause for this fine job.

Beautiful work Gazrok! And I love the reason behind the drawing of this picture. It's going to make someone very happy
I wish I had even an ounce of artistic ability. Mine is generally limited to stick figures, and gluing stuff to a paper bag puppet to amuse my
children! (and myself lol)

Thanks...it worked a few days ago, wonder why it isn't showing now?
I'll check the link for it when I have more time... My avatar is flaky that way too, and both pics are hosted here on ATS...
???
Just edited it, same info, but now it's showing again...

Amazing work, you are very talented. I always recommend good artists to sign up at Deviant Art. I post my
photography there and love the exposure and comments it gets. If your not a member already at least check it out

I'll have to check into that...and set up a page.
BTW, I actually "fixed" some things on this drawing after I scanned this pic of it...(I corrected his eyes, and did some more shading on hers,
etc.). The final looked much better than this image of it (IMO)... But, since its already out of my hands, this is the only scan I have of it. I was
kinda down to the wire on this one...

very good. Pencil? I wish I was good using pencil, it looks so nice when done right. Every drawing I produce has been sloppy. I haven't really drawn
since I was younger though, I paint now. Still, I'd like to be able to draw like you, very good. A good present indeed. Art is always a good
present.. its a good substitue to simple useless material things, and you put your time and emotions into it, its much more well recieved don't you
think?
Its very good.

Yep, and rarely does something store-bought bring tears...
If you're looking to stab at pencil again though, just go to a local craft store (or if you're lucky enough to have them, local art supply stores),
and get a starter set of different grade pencils, and get a couple of EBONY pencils, along with a Kneaded Rubber Eraser (takes up the lead, not the
paper)... some starter kits may even include an EBONY pencil... That's what you use to get the really dark darks... An HB is really light, and works
great for first sketching out the references, and I use a 2B, 4B, and 6B for most shading. (lightest to darkest)

I love art. Especially pencils.
Gaz, ya gotta get a DeviantArt account. It's a pretty good place to store and show ya stuff!
Here's mine, I have a lot of 8-1/2" x 11'' drawings, but, haven't scanned them in yet. The
stuff in my gallery is 10 or so years old now.
The drawing you did is awesome. I envy your talent. It does take a lot of practice on top of all the raw talent too. You've obviously done a lot
more practicing than I.
Keep up the great work!

agreed. Deviantart is pretty good. If not to store your art, it also gets it out there..lets people see it. You can even make a little money too..
thats if you become known..and so people know whenever you submit something new, and make 1 - 2 bucks off selling a print.. whereas the website owners
get like 80 bucks! rediculous.. ah well. But you dont need to sell them.
