The "Sarge" (Don Shumacher's lad Tony) pretty quick 1320... 4.42 with an 8 at 336.15 MPH. Had some other notable passes too. Here he is at Pomona

It would seem possible that a gasoline import sled should run 7's given enough budget... Japanese iron block Skylines have produced over 1000HP (on
gas with turbos)... get that hooked up and you could see a six.
The old NIssan IMSA GTP's put out 1400HP with the same 4 banger block.
