I was told (by a woman) many years ago, that the reason a lot of may-december romances work is because men don't mature till at least mid 30's, while women mature around mid 20's.
About a 10 year gap is perfect, said she----obviously an older woman talking to a younger man about her 15 year older husband.
Possibly some genetic reason as well---survival of the fittest sort of thing.
An older man has proven his ability to survive, thus hopefully passing those traits onward, though I doubt that would be on a concious level of thinking in a choice for a mate.

It's the breasts.

I'd love to make it sound as if it's some deep seeded psychological need to spread ones seed to the youngest most virile of mates. The ones best suited to care for our offspring, in a physical capacity. Or that it's the need of an aging man to confirm for himself that he can still attract the younger of the fairer sex. Or even that there is real love involved, and that it's meant to be.....

But I can't.

It's the perky boobies.

Yeah in the end men just like hot girls, if she's 18 or over 50, if she's hot you can't deny being attracted to her, that would be a lie.

Well I think it's pretty obvious.

JM, I'm really beginning to wonder about you, you sure have a"unique" perspective on things.

Nobody likes getting old. Being with a younger person as an older man or woman probably gives them some sense of rejuvination, maybe even vicariously.

Personally I'm a cougar fan myself. Don't get me wrong, I have a young dime on my arm, but there's nothing more attractive than a strong, independent, middle aged woman that holds herself in high regards.

Ok.. my real reason for not liking younger ladies..
I've had some really shapely ones who've turned into balloons when they've tried to keep up with my lifestyle. lol

You see,with more mature ones,what you see is what you get.They're far less likely to change rapidly in the physical sense...

haha, you know sometimes the opposite happens, she is a bit chubby, but as she gets older she ends up atheltic and curvy in all the right places, you just never know.


One thing I like about older ladies are their legs, becuase they have used them more, they end up appearing to have more shape and toned look to them.


Unless they end up like those hollywood girls that get all skinny and lose their toned muscle and fat that made them look so healthy before, but they assume they look better because they are skinny.

The thing about being skinny is, being skinny comes naturally to certain people depending on bone structure etc, you have to have the right body shape, when a normal healthy sized woman gets skinny it just looks unhealthy, but when a girl is supposed to be naturally skinny it looks normal.

People forget that everyone has a unique body type, and there is limit to what makes us look healthy, we can't all look the same.

I've actually always wondered that myself. I'm 20, and obviously attracted to girls around my same age. But when I'm 65...am I really going to be attracted to other 65 year olds?

Anyway, 35 year old men picking up on 18 year old women is definitely wrong in my book. I mean, perhaps under certain circumstances an actual relationship at that age would be ok, but in general a middle aged man should not be hitting on highschool aged girls. Now, 25 I wouldn't see much of a problem with. It's actually pretty fascinating the way that works. I mean, when's the cutoff? If you're 35 and dating a 25 year old, other guys will think you're awesome. 18? You're a pervert. And obviously you're a man, so you're going to be sexually attracted to some of these girls, but there's a big difference between that and actually making a move.

First I thought you were amusing, cat in the microwave, and now this.

I`m 29 I cannot think of a single thing I would share with a girl who is 18
