As per your request in the U2U, I'm posting this here:

I would be extremely grateful if you could make an avatar that had the ubiquitous 'eye in the pyramid' image with some sort of BBQ influence (maybe on a bed of coals with smoke coming off?). If the words BBQ Illuminati could be incorporated, it would be great.

I would like to use such an avatar both here and on a BBQ forum that I frequent.

Ok all, decided to start making AVATARS again,

A lot of personal issues have been resolved so now to get back to it yeah!

So if you have a serious avatar you want to use, then let me know, and I'll try my absolute best to try make that vision for you.

Yes flagging would be appreciated, although not too important at this stage, later on when the new designs come out would be appreciated more I think.

Just goofin' around with GIMP

You can build animations in there, did you know?

Save 'em out as animated gifs ready to rock.

The trick's in getting the file size down to meet specs.

Did an animated avi for a friend on another board that cuts off the file size @ 68k.

That was a challenge to do without spoiling the vision of what I wanted to achieve.

She was agog at the result, beyond tickled in fact.

Making her happy put a big grin on my face.

You do good work, man, keep it up!

Must be very satisfying to make so many people happy.

Hi I am marty, I got my present avatar by Ellipsis and she did a fantastic job on it as you can tell. I was wondering if you could do something like it also but make it crisper looking and not so faded maybe.. throw some of your flare into it?

I have had it for a while now and I'm ready for a change but I dont want to stray from the Atlantis theme for my avatar.

If this is not what you are into doing then I understand. I was just hoping

Wow, I love it! Thank you so much. I am also going to try out some ideas I have for an avatar. My problem is I want it too look like the island of Atlantis and that is really hard to do. But I will be using this one for sure.

Well i've never been to atlantis - in this lifetime that is *grin* so i don't know what it actually looks like - or whether it is an island. Do you have any links that I can check out so I can do something a little 'closer to home' ?

Hi Marty, it's hard to explain what I am really looking for. These images resembles Atlantis but they look fake as in cartoon like. I am hoping for something real looking, sharp and clear.

I did a google image search for Atlantis and this is all I could come up with. They look like dull or not real. But that is the shape of Atlantis as described by plato.

Also, I'm not sure if I want my name or anything written on my avatar. Is that the normal thing for avatars?
