Hey!! Sure I will give it a whirl, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, I was doing some other things

For anyone else - If I don't respond to this thread when you request an Avatar - can you also please u2u me what you've written, it will get my attention a lot quicker that way

I have been scratching my head for days trying to create my own avatar!
I guess i will have to go to college,and do a course on photoshop.
I did try to u2u,but apparently i have not made enough posts yet.

My untrained eye did'nt even notice!
Could you give me one more bit of advice?

I took the avatar you made for me into photoshop,added my name onto it,(i knew how to do that!) then followed your steps about saving for web,uploaded it into my photobucket page,then found out that i could'nt display it on ATS,(it just showed as a little white box with a red cross in it!).

Any idea why this has happened?

Thats awesome, I like it but can you please put 'hikix' in the lower right hand corner, so it is not masking the alien. And can you use more of a clean font. Sorry, im kindof picky haha thanks

Hi Marty.

I did try that,with the "fixed" avatar you put up,
but for some reason,after the lettering has been added,the upload centre says the file is too big!

Still trying to get my head around the whole process,
but i will keep trying.

Thanx again.

When you go to save it in photoshop - use "File -> Save for Web & Devices" then choose JPG at '70' quality. Make sure the size is smaller than 85kb

Thanks Internos - much appreciated, currently working on my Unofficial ATS Toolbar though... check out the thread.. ATS Toolbar by Im a Marty. Will get back to Avatars if someone asks for one, for creating random ones, its on hold for now
