Discussion Thread for ATS's Valentines Day Avatar Competition

AMEN!!!!!! to that....

I think sometimes people take these too seriously, as far as winning or losing goes.....

Nothing I like more than to see the "New Talent" getting in here and proudly displaying their wares....

ATS is such a vast conglomerate of talents, and Chissler your handling of the Avatar Competitions is a wonderful forum for those talents, we all thank you for your commitment...

Well, like ATS dudes and all that, who won the Valentines Day Avatar contest?

I need to file my income taxes and need to know if I need to report any additional ATS points, you know.

Check it out chisser is like ditching us,.

I think there were 10 contestants if there was a 1st 2nd 3rd place,than that would mean more than half won.. Im still interested in who won though.

From now on when there is an Avatar contest,keep the post tied to the top of BTS. Sorry BTS its just that your constant dribble is non-importanti compared to our attempts to smash the government.

And what would possibly lead to such a statement?



Actually, there were 17 and there are only 2 winners. So my mediocre mathematic skills tells me that less than 12% of the entries will be deemed a winner. By your math, you said there were 10 entries and 3 winners. Then you said that over half would be winners. Well, it looks like only 3 would have been which is less than half.



Why the emphasis on negativity? Our intentions aren't to out due anybody or anything. We're here to have a bit of fun and take some time with some visual imagery. These contests will continue to operate if we have two entries, because those are two members that log on to our boards looking to these contests for a little bit of pleasure. To refer to it as "dribble" and "non-important", I don't really understand why you would even take part.. or insist on hearing results.

If you're here to insult myself, the competitors, or the process, how about submitting a complaint and/or u2uing me talk about it. I'd rather keep these threads positive and discussing the competition at hand.

So moving forward, please refrain from commenting on the aforementioned.

On the matter of the results, I'm still waiting on results from one more judge. As soon as I have them, I'll update this thread.

oh hey chiss, sorry about that. I was making a bit of a farcical statement not to be taken too seriously. anyway! I cant wait to see who won.

The avatar contests are always fun and the bonus is that we all get to see some very good avatars by talented ATS members.

I've been in contact with our final judge and he/she has been away for a couple of days so they are just getting back in the groove now. I'd be willing to bet that the results will be announced this evening.

Thanks for the patience being shown here. I know when I was waiting on some results I was very impatient. So thanks guys, I appreciate it.
