www.cbc.ca

Seriously, I'm outraged by this. Damn the sick-minded and low people....I say, death to these teenagers who played this act upon the animal!
If this happened in ancient Egypt, the murderers would've been executed for that act, tortured or even get their arms cut, anything you can think of.

I'm absolutely sickened and can't read the news story.
How a person of any age can be cruel to animals is beyond me.

It would take some seriously mental issues to put a cat into a microwave..
Being an owner of 3 cats and a dog, I'm not exactly sure what else to say.

Hopefully the ghost of a cat will fear these unsocially fittable individuals for the rest of their lives.
God help us.

I'd pay to build a microwave big enough to fit these abhorrent, inhumanely vile people in and send them to the same fate as this poor animal.
I am beyond disgusted smh

actually kind of scares me to think I might know these people, and chances are I do, I know some pretty cat hating people.

It's not bad enough that they killed a poor innocent kitty but a lot of times killing pets and other types of animal cruelty is one of the first
signs that someone is a psychopath.

A sick act it is!
I have pets and this really gets me mad...as much as it saddens me, it angers me...such a low act!
Maybe all that is needed, is a lesson they will never forget!
I guess it's boredom for these sad young people....
I'm sure they would be excited at the idea of being put individually in a cage, with a few hundred wild cats!

I completely agree with you.Cruelty to animals is the first sign that a person will go on to harm their fellow man.The thing is though, while they may
get charged for B&E, and cruelty to animals...will they get the help they need to insure they do not do it again? Doubtful.
Were they under the influence of drugs or alcohol or both? Not that that is an excuse..but after the Tiger incident at the zoo, you can see how that
could be a factor.
As the owner of cats myself, I too am sickened by this.
More so by a lack of parenting, than anything else.
It all starts at home, in my opinion.

What in the heck is wrong with so many people today? Awful, simply awful.
I was thinkin' about it, and like I says to myself, Self? I wonder if that cat smelled like chicken when it was cookin' and stuff?

I don't know what it's like in Canada, but here in the U.S. animal cruelty does not usually carry a stiff penalty. Often it's just considered
damage to the pet owner's property. Because animal cruelty is associated with sociopathic behavior, and just because it's inhuman, there should
more severe consequences.

Hm, human killers in the making. What a disregard for life... hopefully they will be punished fully along with not being able to ever have an animal
as a pet(law restrictions on owing).
