I need some help. I have the opportunity to buy a 2000 Eclipse with 80000 miles on it. It is in great shape body wise with new tires. I can get it for $500 dollars. The catch...It just cuts off when it gets warm. It does not over heat. The motor just quits running. It will start when it cools off, but when it gets back to running temp, it cuts off. Any ideas on what this might be?

Sensors may be out of whack.Check the oxygen sensor.We had the same problem with a vehicle of ours and found that to be the cause.
Just an idea.
