Star Trek casket or urn *pic*

Topic started on 6-12-2007 @ 04:09 PM by x-phile

I'm sorry, but I'm not that big of a fan or Star Trek but I will entertain the idea of placing my remains into a BoSox urn for eternity if I can have my Ted Williams autogrpahed ball incinerated with me

Have you made final plans?
Traditional?
Cremation?
Burial at sea?
Shot into space?

Nope, no plans. Cosmically, a million years is the merest blink of an eye. What can anyone on earth or anywhere else in the universe achieve that justifies a preference for the disposal of one's remains? Concern for post mortem disposition is an obvious manifestation of the most petty attachment to the transient material plane.

Freeze me.

Chop me up.

Feed me to the pigs.

Put the pig poo somewhere pretty.

Watch the pretty flowers grow.

Think of the pig poo.

And think of me... ChiKeyMonKey.

Wow, I had no idea those urns existed.

On the one hand I'm appalled that the Star Trek franchise develops and sells such merchandise.

On the other hand, I want my ashes stored in one of those. : P
