I'm not a "truther" if that is what you are implying. I think the whole 911 conspiracy is ridiculous.
The only point I was trying to make is that using the symbol of the twin towers for any reason other than what happened on 911 is tasteless. Maybe it
was an oversight but the towers stood out when I watched the ad.
It's still a raw emotion for me.

To be fair, why do you think they use TO for filming a lot of NY movies and TV shows? Because they look alike. Not that this is going to be happening
with the Cdn $ being so strong now.

That reminds me of "Rumble in the Bronx" being filmed in Vancouver.
Nice mountain view they have there.
Toronto has doubled as Chicago sometimes too. Detroit Rock City was filmed there also.
Calgary was Superman's Metropolis in the third movie. You can even see the Calgary tower sticking out. But that's a fictional city so I guess it
shouldn't matter.

OMG
You people are totally missing the point.
I AM American and living in Canada and I am offended at the intentional or otherwise unintentional misuse of the twin towers. If it was the producers
intention to ad a "sexiness" or more omph to the ad by displaying the trade towers "lookalikes" then I think it was poor judgement. That's all. I
am entitled to my opinion without being called an asshat for your lack of understanding.
I know the difference between a TO and NYC skyline.

I'm still missing the point... sorry.
I see NO similarities between the skyline in this ad and the twin towers before 9/11.
This could just as easily be the skyline of ANY major city in the world.
Are you suggesting that any filming, whether in ads, docs or movies which show an explosion of any kind with skyscrapers in the
background should be banned from release?
It would be the end of just about half of the action movies, imo.

WoW. Now you defend this....WoW
So.... let me get this straight. Any time some high rises are in a movie, we have to call the USA to ask permission?
I would stop posting in this thread of yours if you want to keep any respect from myself. Not that I assume you care about my respect, dont worry, Im
not fooled.
This is so arrogant I cant even belive Im reading this here.
Edit:
You know what. You dont have to answer my question above. I wont be awswering you back. Im done here in this "thread".

...just cause I cant resist.
I used to live in Ottawa and T.O. For a year each.
First Bank Tower in in the far right back of your Video. Scotia Plaza is infront of it. I belive Commerce Court West is in the center of your video
with King West in front of it. I belive Toronto Dominion Bank Tower is in behind that. I think thats Bay Wellington Tower in the left of your video.
Can I do that with N.Y.? No. But you asked if I knew my own country. I do.
What does this prove? Nothing. Like to point of this thread.
