You notice how their are more butt kisser replies than anti-bk'ers! I used to think that giving a person his leeway was kissing his butt and I had worked way to hard on my knowledge and job to allow that.

Well, it turns out that I was very clueless about personal and business relationships. You have to play the field to get what you want and achieve your goals. If no-one like you because you are always telling them the reality of things, they are going to naturally feel harsh towards you.

You give them their compliment or bend on your beliefs of something to allow the person to feel intellectually confident. When that person is feeling confident around you, than that person naturally takes a liking to you.

In return you will eventually recieve the outcome of your liking.

Now I think some people go to far with it and become patronizing and that is being a brown noser that nobody likes!

I will say that there is a vast difference in "Brown Nosing" and "Butt Kissing"

Now I am NO Brown Noser....

Nope not me...

But I am a Proud Member and President of the Butt Kissers Club. Just look at the thread and see the fabulous company I am in...
