Something I knocked up in a couple of hours or so that appeared in a very weird dream a few nights ago. (involving me trying to explain the concept
of normal maps to this alien, who despite appearances was as thick as a plank....I really must cut down on the cheese before bed lol). Done entirely
in Zbrush starting from Zsphere's (for those that know what I'm actually talking about.)
Its still a work in progress and without any texture maps at the moment. I've still got to devide what basic colours I'll be using to paint the
poor sod.

nice work
Thanks
I find a lot of my monster and alien designs both for personal stuff like this and ones for clients come from my dreams /nightmares. Somehow it helps
to give it a more realistic edge. My way of working when doing a digital sculpture like this one is to 1st understand the charatcer of the person or
thing I'm sculpting... if you get inside its 'head' it brings more character to it.
This is actually my 1st model since releasing my last DVD (I had to record the first 2 volumes baack to back which was a killer creatively). After
recording I find it sucks all creativity right out of you, but after acouple of weeks rest it looks like its coming back again.

Hey thats some really good artwork!! And also a very chilling tale!
I have to ask, becasue that reminds me of something Ive had in a dream, but the color of the being was orange.. Have you ever seen one of these things
as an orange colored skin?

You know its funny you should mention the orange skin ...I've started to paint the texture on him and he does indeed hvae a orangish hue. This is
actually teh 2nd alien from a dream I've had in the last month or so, (although that one got himself turned into a Next gen game model, so that'll
learn him to harasss me i dreams lol.)

Hi Wyane
Heres a quick picture I did of an exp I had. This things head was very long, but not form or shape to it that I could see.
Its arms where very long, aswell as its fingers and legs..
I belive I was in some kind of astral form when with this alien/spirit..
If you want to shoot some ideas across the room, U2 me.. I have been trying to get into the video game making world for some time now..
I have built many of my own games by using various free bee programs rolling around the net.. But I know my mind is game worthy.. I am a vetren DM
and have a wealth of knowledge within this head of mine

...So far
Well I finally got enough time together to do some texturing on this guy. This is still an internal ZBrush render (aactually a real time preview),
and along way from complete.
For those who like the numbers, he currently stands at around 26 million polygons. There's detail that can't been seen unless very close up to the
model (normally I dont add detail that is never seen,...but I was bored and needed to kill some time. )
This model is a personal side project as opposed to for a client, I've been rushed off my feet off late doing things for clients and wanted to take
some time to do something for 'me' for a change. (I wont hve much of a chance fr a 'big' model till next year now once this is finished.) He'll
probably end up in either the doom 3 engine or the next big unreal engine once its released. With any luck I can the round up all the damn alien and
monsters I've made this year into one game lol.

Excellent work!!
Thats very shockingly close to something I have seen in a couple dreams!
I do belive in the collective hive mind.. We are all one mentally, and artist like you are a big help!! Not only in the aspect you can create
something that others have seen, or get a familar feel with.. But something where you can express your very own sense of style!!
Thanks for sharing that!!
Awesome work !!! 2 thumbs up!

Probably the latest version for a little while I think.
Thanks for the nice comments everyone, I'm glad it's something you all liked, I normally don't post any of my work here. (It wasn't a conscious
decision not to, I just simply kept forgetting to lol.) Here's a couple of older ones from the last few weeks or so.
