France warns of war with Iran

Looks like things are starting to get a little hairy. I wonder why France is jumping on the Iran-War bandwagon? I know that they had numerous assets in Iraq, heck they even supplied Saddam with a Reactor in 1981. Maybe this is to show the EU that they still have some gusto?
