Appalchian State Upsets Michigan
Wow, this was a very exciting game to watch, and I didn't even watch all of it.
Being an Ohio State Fan, I was please that the Buckeyes had an easy day so my Father-inlaw and I was switching over to the Michagan game and he left
before the game was over, I had to call him on his way home and give him the news..
Wow... what a day.

The only thing more delicious than that...
Is what Georgia Tech is doing to Notre Dame right now.
Man, how will college football survive this season if the losers from South Bend are exposed for the punks that they are in their first game?
Beano Monkeys, not just for ridiculous Heisman predictions anymore...

Oh, my...
One would normally have to watch a late night prison movie on Cinemax to see what was done to Notre Dame today...
33-3... And "Fat Chuck" just got a contract extension...

As a Badger fan, I couldn't be happier. Let's hope they keep their heads hanging through the conference games. Unlike the last couple years WI
plays both OSU and MI. They both better be ready.

I attend Appalachian State University, and watched it at the local sports bar Geno's. Simply amazing. The atmosphere in there was just crazy.
I've been to tons of Air force games, when I lived in Colorado... but nothing compared to the excitement of that game and the crowd in that bar.
The town went crazy too... we got a police escort to go tear down the ASU goal posts and parade them through town.
Bias aside... was the best game I've ever watched. And to think I could possibly have made the team had I just tried out for it... instead of
watching, I could have actually been a part of it... but either way, right now....
I'm DAMN proud to be a MOUNTAINEER!!!!!!!!!!

Biggest upset in College Football history. The sport message boards here in Michigan are going crazy with all the UofM haters.

I might be wrong but no Division 1-AA has ever beaten a ranked Division 1 school, let alone a top 5 school.
Michigan shouldn't have been ranked in the Top 5, I don't think they were that good to begin with. The defensive is crap! Can't handle the spread
offense with a moble quarterback.
Not that Appalaichian State is a push over, they are defending champs from Div 1-AA.

Mich i didnt really think were that great eather. its all good though my Cal Bears showed Tenn a nice game lol DESEAN JACKSON FOR HEISMEN lol but
anyways i mean i understand that it was a huge upset but i think boise against Oklahoma state was better.... i mean undefeated season comes down to
the last play its a major bowl game. david vs goliath (yes off commercial) and a statue of liberty play to win it all. as i speak im watching Sports
center and this happened yesterday. so i mean its huge but gets kinda old. But i would rank this up there in my top 5 of biggest upsets. doesnt matter
cals winning it all

I get what your saying about staying undefeated, espically when its a David v Goliath scenario but those 2 teams were in a major bowl game.
NO ranked Division 1 school (Michigan was #5) should ever ever loose to a Division 1-AA school. Besides Boise State and Oklahoma are Division 1
School.

definately a big upset, but the first game of the year is prime for it. Doesn't happen really, but if it were to happen it would be the first game.
It's good that Apalachain State gets some face time. They're only going for their third consecutive AA title this year. They deserve some face
time...

this week @ halftime. Oregon 32-Michigan 7. Lloyd Carr's seat is so hot it's melted by now. They interviewed him @ the half.
"Coach Carr, do you know what the injury is to Chad Henne?"
"yes..." Proceeds to walk away. Classic...

If Lloyd Carr had a lick of sense...
He'd hand in his whistle at the end of this game...
Lloyd, if you are reading this (and chances are, you are, because you sure as Hell aren't distracting yourself by coaching)... Quit... Quit now while
someone might still remember you won a share of a National Championship.
p.s. Cinemax called, they are making a fresh batch of prison movies, you in?

OOOOHHHH, Baby. There's another score. 39-7. Missed most of this game struggling to put up a crappy ceiling fan.
Those poor, poor, Wolverines. Their problems make this Badger feel all warm inside.
Hope the Badgers do a little pounding on UNLV in the desert tonight.
Packer season tomorrow.

It's ugly. Muchigan isn't anything this year. this will be 4 losses in a row.
Carr should give a speech like Pitino.
"Tom Brady's not coming thru that door. Charles Woodson's not coming thru that door..."
Man it's over for big Blue...

You forgot to mention possibly the best punt returner in NFL history in the speech.
Desmond Howard's not coming through that door. If they are, they're going to be grey and old.
