Chillies/Peppers that will burn like hell

Topic started on 22-8-2007 @ 04:13 AM by shearder

I was looking on the internet for information and a place where one can get seeds for favo(u)rite chillies and peppers.

I found this:

Source

Naga Morich 970,000 SHU
Naga Jolokia 850,000 SHU
Red Savina 350,000 to 577,000 SHU
Habanero's & Scotch Bonnet's 100,000 to 350,000 SHU
Chiletepins, Thai & Birds Eye 50,000 to 150,000 SHU
Piquin, Cayenne, Tabasco & Rocoto 30,000 to 50,000 SHU
De Arbol, Ajis & Shipkas 15,000 to 30,000 SHU
Serrano 5,000 to 15,000 SHU
Jalapeno, Mirasol & Hot Wax 2,500 to 5,000 SHU
Anaheim, Rocotillo, Sandia & Cascabel 1,500 to 2,500 SHU
Ancho, Pasilla, Mulato & Espanola 1,000 to 1,500 SHU
Cherry, New Mexican 500 to 1,000 SHU
Bell Peppers & Pimentos 0 SHU

There are some seriously HOT chillies out there!
Now my question is: is there ANYONE that grows Red Savinas (Habanero type), Habaneros and the Naga type Chillies that would be able to send me some seeds? I can find them nowhere in South Africa. Habaneros one can buy and dry but not the Red Savina type.

Man i love the stuff but i am usually stuck with having to settle for Jalapeño at the best of times.

I can't actually send you any seeds mate, but check out this site for ordering:
seedrack.com....
One of my friends uses that site and she has always been happy with the product.

Sorry I don't have any seeds to send you, but I used to grow all sorts of peppers, but now I stick to Jalapeno and the Hot Banana ones.

I made the mistake of planting Habanero's right beside some Sweet Sheppard's one year and the damn things cross pollinated. I had these beautiful large sweet peppers that packed a lot more heat than expected.

And really, I find the Habanero's just to hot for me. I think I'll stay far away from those Naga Morich ones on the list, they sound lethal.

Here's a link you'll find interesting and helpful:
www.batnet.com...

Good luck in your garden mate, keep your knees dirty.

Edit: fixed link
