What's the best food for "Munchies"?

<<  1    2  >>

I have a few personal favourites - pickled onion monster munch would be one
chicago town mini-pizza's
chocolate hobnobs (occasionally)
cheese and pickled onions
kebabs - with extra chilli sauce

I'm good most of the time, but sometimes I do love to splurge!

Fats, starches and sugars are the most satisfying for your brain when you have cravings.

They may not be the best for you, but they're what your body will use quickly to satisfy an immediate need for relief from hunger or when you require fast energy.

I tend to be mostly carnivorous, so I keep a few steaks in the freezer for a fast meal that sticks with you for a while.

I don't know if you guys have ever been to Cold Stone Creamery before, but they have the best ice cream. They take the ice cream you choose, then put it on a cold stone to keep it frozen, and mash in snickers, marshmallows, m&m's, and pretty much whatever you want in there. As a matter of fact, I think I will head over there tonight.

Um, food. Or stuff that can almost be called food.

Salt baby. Read potato/corn chips. Or nuts. Cashews are my fav.

And pizza, hey, who doesn't eat pizza?

Note to self, call cardiologist.

OK, I've just discovered a cheese board in my local supermarket with all different types of cheese, soft, hard, mature, mild, sharp, etc etc
Each cheese is individually wrapped and appears to be about 2 portions (small)

I have some Jacobs crackers, some pickle and the cheese.

I intend to indulge tonight

Amen, brother. I'll take a dozen.

One of my other favorite snacks is popcorn. Not that microwave stuff, or "air-popped" (an abomination), but popped correctly with the correct device. Add butter and salt. It's an Indiana thing.

I'm a purist.

Two opposite side of the spectrum.

Side A - Peanut M&M's baby!
Side B - I almost always have some grilled chicken breast in the fridge.

In the middle: Pistachio's, goldfish, and a good peanut and raisin mix.

Speaking of M&Ms, I recently read somewhere that one bottle of Vitamin Water is the equivalent to a 1/2 serving of M&Ms?! I'd much rather get my calories from something like M&Ms!!

i tell him everytime that its an evil wheel, by the time i finish on the cheese wheel i dont want any dinner

iced coffee!! gotta be farmers union or its nothin.. yummy flavoured milk is a meal in a carton

ooh man, cheesy mite scrolls are actually the ultimate, i was wrong before.

now youve stirred up the munchies in me. thanks cobber

Yeah, I've heard that about you hoosiers; Basketball and popcorn and the straight stuff, no substitutes.

As for me the ideal munchie is home-made mini-pizzas, (pizza sauce, mozzerella cheese and pepperoni on a high-class english muffin and stick in the oven until cheese melts), make about 6, more if your sharing.

Yum, that's good stuff, Maynard!!

Get a can of that Baker's Dipping Chocolate, where they sell the cake mixes at, nuke it in the microwave, and dip srawberries in it.

Ritz crackers, with creme cheese spread on top and then a little scoop of hot pepper jelly.

Ruebens on those cocktail breads are super easy too.
