Many, many years ago.........
I used to judge fencing matches in High School.
I have to admit that I wasn't that involved in the sport, and I only picked up a foil to help a few friends practice. But I loved the sport, I just
wasn't very good.
Not many students went into fencing as an extracurricular activity, but I got more out of it than anyone will ever know.
