Thanks Xeros.

I'll tell ya, Photoshop is ridiculously expensive but Elements is fairly reasonable at what...$50. That's what I started with and it will allow you to use filters and and introduce you to layers....anyway it's a decent program IMO.

Actually I believe there are free programs that mimic Photoshop (not sure how well). You should search BTS, from what I hear they are open source and pretty decent.

Thanks kinglizard, I find it fun actually messing around with images. I'm using paint and some corel photo thing that I downloaded yesterday *sigh*. I had to freehand select around the words on the last tag lol. I suppose that the tutorials are gonna help alot on these programs, besides, it's interesting playing around and finding new stuff. I'm gonna see if I can get a good program.

I did some Googling and found the following:

www.gimp.org...

You may want to start a BTS thread asking members for their recommendations as many of them use these open source programs. They would be able to guide you much better than I because I've never used these programs but I know I've heard gimp mentioned before...it's considered the "free photoshop".

Lysergic, that is what I'm talkin about! I was thinking about doing something similar earlier, as a break from the stylish workings. You are always a step ahead of the game though. Pimperage, Haha.
