Jimmy Akio Yang was demoted to OVW from the Smackdown roster along with his partner Sakoda. The reasons they were given were that Yang needed to focus on wrestling with more fire during his matches while Sakoda needed to work on his bumps in order to reduce injury and to better sell moves from opponents.
