I thought you lived in Aruba? How do you consider that the continent? Isn't it an island.

Hawaii is part of the United States of America, but it's not included when referring to the continental US I don't think.

The American continent stretches from the North West Territories of Canada to Patagonia of Argentina.. Aruba is exactly in the middle of it.

Honestly, who gives a crap about what folks from the US call oursleves, or what others use for our national nomenclature? Yanks, Americans I honestly dont care. Why would this even bother someone at all? Is it really that big of a deal? Those who are from Mexico are Mexicans, Canada are Canadiens. What would you like us to say, the United States of Americans? American(s) is just a lot easier to say. I'm pretty sure thats why it was adopted as our nomencature. Whoever started this thread did it to stirr up a bunch of crap because I really never even give a moments thought to what other countries folk use to name their nationality, if thats what they prefer to be called, then thats what I'll call them.

I being a united statesian (kicks self in ass) dont see a problem. Its like people calling themselves european, or asian. Its just easier. If it makes you feel better about yourself call yourself youre american. We were never like "HEY...CENTRAL AMERICA, DONT EVER CALL YOURSELVES AMERICAN" We just use the word, feel free.

Well, thats it isnt it, its what you THINK!!! I refuse to be called United Statsian by anyone, its too much of a mouthfull. You can use it if you like but I aint acknowledgin it. And neither will the other half of the US that thinks this thread was a complete waste of time starting.

You obviously started this thread thinking to start something, super mod or not. What does it really matter who calls themselves what?
