Nope the data is on the disc and I believe ps3's can read any game around the world. But I think the BlueRay movies are locked in regions.

Why did you sell it??
If I had to choose now between the ps3 and the 360 I'd choose the ps3. They won the format battle!

Sold your ps3!! You should be ashamed of yourself. Especially when MGS4 is coming out so soon. I expect that next ps3 you buying stays in your room
permanently.

Well, I'm half way through act two I think.
So far it's played like every other Metal Gear Solid game. The first four hours are two hours of cut scenes and two hours of you trying to figure out
what the hell to do.
The game sure looks pretty. I'll tell you that much. I got a PS3 just to play this game. Grabbed the 80GB PS3/Metal Gear 4 combo from Wal-Mart. I try
not to shop there but they were giving away 100 gift cards to boot. So I couldn't pass it up.
Anyway, the AI in this game is top notch. You really have to think strategically. You can't afford to kill guys, because one false move and the alert
goes up. Then is boom time. You can try to run and gun, but you're going to eat it. Hard.
I'll be interested to see where the story goes. People tell me that things don't really pick up until around hour ten. We'll see....
On the flip side I've enjoyed the heck out of playing GT5 rologue.

5 times? Already? Have you seen the sun lately?
I know it's possible to beat it in under 5 hours (you need do to that and a bunch of other stuff to get the Big Boss emblem), but seriously
man...five times already, that's overkill.
I just got to Shadow Moses and snuck by the Gekko. The places brings back memories...

I beat it last night at about 2 a.m.
I think I'll hold off a bit before my second play through.
Good times though.
But MAN, that final cut-scene took FOREVER.

That's pretty hardcore that you beat it 5 times already though.
I'm looking forward to going through it again with some of the other tranquilizer weapons I have now.
The further I got, the easier it was to just tranq people. Now that I have the shotgun and sniper tranq weapons...man, I might just be able to pull of
a zero kill run through.
