It looks like the news in "Night & Day Live" about Shannon's character (as reported in this thread) was correct:
Maggie Grace is Lost in paradise...
The producers have been deluged with calls and emails from irate viewers after Rutherford joined the lengthy body count in the second series,
which is halfway through its run. But nothing in Lost is quite what it seems - the show is told through a series of flashbacks, and she is due to make
her next appearance in a scene about another character's past.

Actually, this is old news...
I reported on this same piece of information in the post about "Night & Day Live." Well, at least we have this information from another source
now...

Robin Finck Cameo?
In August 2006, Finck sent an email to Kerrang! magazine confirming that he would be making a cameo appearance in an episode of the upcoming third
season of Lost. Finck stated that he "is looking forward to working outside of the box of his Guns N' Roses for a change".

As for the story: If the first season was all about the original plane-crash survivors adjusting to their new lives on a deserted island, and the
second season was all about the so-called "tailies" (those who were in the tail of the plane, whom the originals had thought were dead), "this

Matthew Fox to the Rescue...

Cameras caught Matthew Fox in Hawaii yesterday filming a scene for the show's third season. In it, Fox's character, Dr. Jack Shephard, comes running
to the aid of a child in a playground. Fox can be scene performing what looks like the Heimlich maneuver.

will be a survivor of flight 815. I'll try to translate what he said to you:
"- The essence of this work is mystery, and this to me is completely new. We're talking for a month and I still don't know what I'm gonna do. I
just know I'll be one of the survivors of the original group, and not one of the others."
Here the newspaper explains that the others is the group which is already was in the island. Santoro also said: "They said to me that's how it

Episode S3E04 - Every Man For Himself
Its is Desmond-centric with flashbacks to his time in prison. It features Warden Harris, a nasty man with a hate on for Desmond. 304 also has
'Munson', a mild-mannered gov't bureaucrat in his 30's who shows his dark side when he finds out he has been betrayed by his wife. No, I do not
who his wife is or who he is connectd to.

it's wierd, i love lost but i hate reading spoilers or any information about the upcoming episodes.. i think that somewhat ruins it..

It will be revealed that Jack has met one of "The Others" back in the real world; this will relate to why he is the only one they are able to
cooperate with, although he will be extremely wary in the beginning.

I wonder who the Other is that Jack has met?
Could it maybe be the woman who he kisse at the hospital? I'm racking my brains to try and think who it could be now......
