Has anyone played Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell?

Pretty awesome game, I think, haven't played it as much as I like though... *damn dayjob* *s*

(I'm playing the PS2 version) I'm stuck on the level (can't remember what it's called, The Embassy, perhaps) where you have to take out 2 guards in a hallway, and then take an elevator a couple of floors up. Almost out of ammo at this point, I get caught when I get out of the elevator, either by a camera or a guard in an office nearby. *sigh*

If anyone know the place I'm talking about, I would sure appreciate any advise!

It is just kinda hard..

Just kill all enemies..

Sneak on them..

I have it on PC, not sure what lvl you speak of...

can you shoot out some lights or something?

I've noticed that has helped a lot when I need to sneak up on someone.

Splinter Cell == Dogs Bolloxs

The Xbox version is by an far the best (as it was designed for it)

You can shoot out 90% of lights, just watch where you walk, gravel makes a hell of a noise. Shadows, dam them, the amount of times I've been pinned by the bad guys by my shadow crossing their few.

Don't know about you PS2 freaks but us Xbox gods can download new levels.

ah crap. I could not figure out how to play the damn thing. I had a hard enough time getting through the training... . I guess I was not quiet enough to sneak up behind people. oh well.

I own Splinter cell for X box, im in the last level I think..

Its a really hard game, and its taken me a full year of playing on average 9 hours a week of it.

If you were more clear on your position in the game, I could probably help you, but then again, I dont know how different XBOX version is different from the PS2 version..

but in the long run, consoles beat PCs by far..

imagind, a 32 inch plasma tv, hooked up to an X box system link, you and 8 other freinds all playing counter strike on that monster tv, with digital surrond sound, a big subwoofer, and mrehh.. basicly a juiced out tv room.

im stuck on a 24 inch tv, with 2 speakers that I dont even think work....


ya.. I geuss my pentium 4, windows xp with 5.1 surround sound, some juicy sound card is better..

all you splinter cell dans, theres news of the new splinter cell game comin out. theres even a demo.
