ATS, BTS, What would you like to see in the future?

We have always received plenty of concepts and new ideas/suggestions from the ATS community. In time, we do attempt to integrate your comments into the functionality of Above Top Secret.

With the arrival of William, ATS has seen a fantastic new level of evolution thanks to his marketing and programming skills.

This topic's purpose is to see what further ideas people have. Many long-standing members have seen their suggestions become actuality. I feel it would be interesting to hear what newer members have come up with as well, who have only just noticed the exciting and crazy ATS phenomena.

Set your minds to creativity, what should/will the next evolutionary step be?

Anyways I liked an idea that someone here mentioned in another thread about adding an instant messaging feature to ATS. You know kinda like MSN Instant messenger. I know there's the u2u system but hey I think its a good idea. Other than that everything is great.

Actually i cant think of anything else everything is here.

i like the instant messenging idea as well, something faster then U2U's but more private then chat, you know? its a good idea

Online chess and checkers would be a good idea for BTS.

LMAO!! I would like to see the possible threads in #en top secret.

I would like to see BTS evolve into companion site to ATS so that similar information can still be presented.

The difference would be that the info on BTS does not have to be presented in such a strict & structured way as required in ATS.

Of course this would all depend on how many members are interested in participating this way in the future.

Should BTS have a different set of Mods i mean cos i wonder if our current Mods have to much of a work load with ATS.

I hope these people are posting via BTS cause what's been said has been pretty stupid.

1. Control of layout: Ability to strip all user names and avatars from site. This way it's you and the message board. No BS. (This would be in a cookie or something and only for you). I hate to associate the text I see here witha personality and things would be a lot smoother if the message board had no "personality tags".

2. Subtract points for posting so that posting becomes a valued commodity

3. Ability to transfer X number of points to another user.

well i have to say i dont really like 1 and 2 but being able to transfer points would be cool

that would basically take away a big chunk of the fun involved in this chatroom
i do support the 3rd one tho, the ability to transfer points to another user.

can we have like a java-based chat program? with instant messaging/chatroom options available running off the website's server? i mean...providing the server has a static ip address a fairly good messaging system can be setup at short notice, i mean....there's script all over the net (i've come across script for irc :up
and providing a person is cleared to download the program and provides a user/pswrd to login....then a faster form of chat can be established.
