Loony Tunes, with a leaning towards Bugs and Daffy.
Xmen, they did the comics well.
South Park, nuff said.
Simpsons, ditto.
Harvey Birdman, attorney at law. If you've seen the old cartoons you'll understand.

Has done a lot for the cartoon world.

Venture Brothers (original work)

Family Guy (resurrected it)

All American Dad (Roger, the gay alien reminds me of... )

Boondocks (no one else would show it)

Space Ghost Coast To Coast (RIP Alex..)

Futurama Monkeys, not just for the occasional bender anymore...

The Batman cartoons of the late 80s/early 90s were great!

As a kid, it was (and still is) Looney Tunes, the original and still the best. The godlike genius of Mel Blanc, the characters, the animation, the music... it has yet to be bettered, frankly, and the WB resurrection is piffling and pallid by comparison.

And the Wacky Races/Dick Dastardley and Muttley toons had a certain influence.

And how could one forget Top Cat? Especially since the rapper out of Cypress Hill stole Choo-Choo's voice. That was cool.

Of the more recent stuff -

Samurai Jack - AWESOME.

I also like the Power Puff Girls, believe it or not.

And of course, Family Guy, American Dad, and South Park - sadly, I think the Simpsons peaked many years ago and should really have been canned way back.

Roger, the alien in American Dad, has a voice that is modelled on that of The Hooded Claw (from Penelope Pitstop), who in turn was modelled on a character actor whose name I just can't recall, though his first name might be Paul. Nope, it's going to bug me now... aha. Paul Lynd, I think.

And my favourite American Dad line of all time... "We're going to MEXICO! Or, as I like to think of it, 'God's blind spot!'"

And the Maakies animations are way cool, though they're not on mainstream tv.

Wow I am surprised no one has mentioned Exo-Squad, perhaps one of the all time greatest cartoons/films/shows, to show the hardships of war. Along with the science behind it really makes it a lassic and the drawings being of high quallity.

anyway for the list

Gargoyles
Exo-squad
Southpark
simpsons
looney tunes

All-Time:

1. DBZ

5. Robotech (Macross)

Current:
1. Ghost In the Shell: Stand Alone Complex
2. Sea Lab 2020
