According to The Toth Fans Forums, Alex Toth passed away yesterday morning - May 27th.

This is very, very sad news indeed. Alex was a true professional and a credit to the industry. I'm not sure how may of you know of him, but Alex is best known for his animation designs for Hanna-Barbera throughout the 1960s and 1970s - including The Superfriends, Jonny Quest and Space Ghost. He's also a member of the Jack Kirby hall of Fame for his comic work.

RIP Mr. Toth.

The world of cartooning would not be anything it is like today with out him.

Very sad.. he brought us all so much during the good ole days of watching those shows
