Free Websites?!

[omg just wrote the whole topic and name was taken so have to do it again ]

Me and my silly friend really want to set up a website for a little crazy organization (sp?) we have 'set up' hehe (Don't ask, You will all think i am mad )

Don't really want to pay for a site though! Anyone know of any good free ones?

And if anybody is willing to help us, i can't pay you but i'll happily owe you a beer or something

Presuming that you have broadband, most broadband providers include webspace as part of the package. To check it out, just surf to your providers website and check it out.

Yeah i have broadband, but no webspace what i can see! How dare they !

The best web host i found is www.150m.com....

it has 100mb of storage
600mb of bw
a short subdomain eg. www.yoursite.150m.com

also the members area is easy to use and you also get web stats inc. total uniques/hits, bandwidth used this month, average bandwidth per user.

i am currently hosting on this service and i think it is great!

you do get some adds on the top of your page however but this isn't much of a problem as an annoyance

Ok well one thing i can help you with is when ever your done with typing your thread just highlight all that you wrote and then hold ctrl and hit c

Then try it and if its taken go back type a different Name then hold ctrl and hit v.

And the second thing i can help you with is if you just want a website for free you can go to Freewebs and create one there or if you want a free board like ats and bts you can go to Proboards.

But if you let him use your space and publish a wensite it would not be your work. You cant put his work on your[/] portfolio.
