Best Wingman/partner?

So you are going into battle against impossible odds. You are outmatched in every aspect, except bravery, of course. Who do you want there with you? Anyone in the Sci fi genre counts.

Not to sound like an insufferable nerd, but why not Darth vader?
I'd rather have someone who can kick serious ass!
But it'd be nice if I could think of some hot female character right now....DAMNIT!!!!

Definatly Chewbacca. The ultimate wingman....or wingwookie.

I'd have to go with "Boomer" from Battlestar Galactica. Reliability is something you would want in a wingman.
