Use the quote tab, then copy and past the URL into your avatar slot

files.abovetopsecret.com...

or click the link and save the image to your computer and reload it to your MATS Center. you might want to make a folder in MATS titled Avatars.
Over time you will have lots of images so it makes it a bit easier to keep track of when you have folders

Thanks Sauron - I've done that now. I can see the image is too large. I'm using the thumbnail while I figure out how to resize it (?). How do I get the area around the image to change to black? I can't figure that out. I'm selecting the colour where I edit my mini-profile, but it doesn't seem to work.

You need 250 points to change your background color I believe, it's been so long since I spent any

I re-sized your avatar for you you can either copy the link into your avatar slot or save the picture to your computer and upload it again.

OK - it took me a while but I figured it out

I uploaded a few photos, chose one as my avatar and set it but it does show up. What am I doing wrong? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I'm beginning to figure it out. Not to crazy about the avatar that has come up. I have others but they are too big. I tried resizing them on my computer but to no avail. I'll keep working on it.- Many thanks!

I finally found my way through the avatar maze!

This site has some odd way of linking stuff together. I went through several layers of site changes and finally bumped into what I needed.

I leave it for you to figure out on your own. Maybe that is reasoning behind the site design. That and puzzle planet.

I dont understand how to put my picture as my avatar. I tried but now I only see a little square by my username. Please, can someone help me? I'm not good with computers. Thanks!

if it is copy it then go to members tools the link is above on the ATS navigation bar. then to Account settings, here you will see the Avatar URL: window/slot. Paste the link into it and click submit. U2U me if you need any more help.

however, you'll need to ensure the desired background-image has already been uploaded to your ATS Media Portal account.

Is there anyone that would be willing to create an avatar for me? I had a beautiful one when i first registered, then i went AWOL for months and when I come back, it's gone! If anyone would be kind enough to help a brotha out, please U2U me. Thanks! Peace and Love!

Only a small portion of my avatar fits...like the left side and not the whole thing? Any help on resizing? Can I resize in paint? Thanks!

got it---Just had to resize it to 160 w by 320 h and it's good to go. Question would be how do I make it bigger and still fit. Perhaps just adjust the hight settings? I'll play around with it.
