First of all your avatar is way to big at 328px X 475px you have to resize it.

GIF and JPEG file formats only with a maximum dimension of 160 pixels wide, by 320 pixels tall. File sizes are not to exceed 75k, and animated GIF's are allowed. (physical size can extend up to 400 pixels tall for images under 50k in file size)

You don't have the points yet but if you join twitter and U2 asala she will give you 5000 points

Background Image Instructions
Before you begin be sure the image you intend to use is on your computers hard drive and is no larger than 50k. The size of the image will be different for everyone but I don’t recommend an image over say 210 pixels wide as the typical width of the table cell for your custom profile is about 180 pixels. Also please note that this feature costs 2500 points and has nothing to do with the avatar image,

Edit
im my case I am using a background image with a transparent avatar on top

i have an avatar question.

Ok, this might be in the "gray area". I found an avatar i really like.
Think the blue alien from the Fifth Element and a scantily-clad princess Lea fantasy art. Her bits are covered, she just does not have much on. I am a female and don't find this offensive.

Would this be considered a no-no avatar?
