I enjoy anything to do with the Military or Politics
they are my obsession ( My husband serves with Army Special Forces )

yes, I'm a noob... I'm still mildly unsure of how often my posts will be read so, i'll post here and hopefully get shown around by one of the gracious senior members...

For all 'new' members.....Im about to reach my one year anniversary on ATS.....and, computer illiterate that I am, never really knew that BTS even existed!!!

I kept seeing my 'minus' BTS points.....never asked, didn't tell....

Then, just tonight....in Board Business in ATS I posed a question....about buying a used car...and, LO and Behold!!!!!

I was introduced to BTS!!!

So much new territory to explore....and, I promise to behave myself, because I have learned, from...well, if not the best, the almost best group of people on the InterWebs! (They are a series of tubes....just ask Sen. Ted Stevens...)

I am new to this site as well. I have made a few posts and obviously had no idea what I was doing. Could someone please adopt me and show me how things are done around here? I would deeply appreciate it.

This is how i get back there from ats: scroll to the top until it wont scroll nomore, there is a highlighted tab, "hmm whats this-me when i first joined" and lo-behold there is a muche bigger top secret then i everthought existed

Been thinking a bit (always dangerous) ... here we are in BTS, and it's a subject that might need more sensationalism on ATS....just a thought, because....as ATS, in general, gets more attention, it will attract more and more new members.

What I THINK I've been seeing, lately, on ATS is an influx of people who....well, hate to bring age into it, but....some of the questions asked show a certain lack of experience....of life, the Universe and Everything!

Now, myself (being slightly long in the tooth...and if you don't understand that simile....then we are beginning to identify the problem) back to me....I have something to bring into discussions....even if I fail miserably, at times, in expressing myself through the written word.

We all were 'new' members, at one time or another....so, I think it's a good idea....except, what exactly is involved in this 'adoption' concept, anyway???

EDIT....AND....why in the heck to I have NEGATIVE BTS points?? Must have been when I bought stuff form the ATS Store???
