Well, I've finally taken the plunge into the advanced areas of Adobe Photoshop and I've spent the last six hours doing these:
Mars
Earth 01
external image
I drew the outline of the land with the brush tool, then filled it in using the paint bucket.
Earth 02
Chainlinks
external image
Barbed Wire
I then put them all together and made this.

I really like the space image. I put barbed wire around Earth 'cause as you all know, war is a big part of humanity... sadly. The chains that are
linked to Earth resemble the mentality of some decent people who are trying their best to keep the World together (not literally )
I'll be using this board to put up all my work. Please don't steal anything without permission, I don't go around stealing your car,
so don't steal my work.
Thank you.

Wow, excellent work Xeroxed! I especially like the one with the chains going around the earth. Keep it up.

I like the planets but may I suggest adding some glow and try to blend the planets more into the starfield. As for the starfield noise is usually not
the best way to produce stars. I was able to produce this starfield
By following a tut on this site www.artofgregmartin.com...

Don't let it bug ya.
It's just the bad side of life happening..And you happen to be in the midst of it.
It'll be fine..
Besides, it COULD be quite inspirational...harness it!

You're damn right. I have some art work planned now to portray my feelings. I just hope it turns out well.

Well, it's a room with the American flag on the walls. As in, America is pretty much everywhere nowadays - for example, the American culture is
everywhere (McDonalds in pretty much every country). It surrounds us everywhere we go. The empty room represents that SOME people are very naive, or
"empty" in knowledge.
I did start working on a cover which showed a huge group of people with no eyes or mouths but I wasn't sure if I liked it so I made the one above.
