The B 52 bomber.
The ability for one aircraft to sink most nations entire navy's is a force to be reckoned with. And thats only in one of its roles.
After the B52 then B2 what more needs to be said its virtually untouchable. I like to think of it as a reusuable ICBM its got the range and hitting
power (unless you count mirvs )
Im gonna leave it at 3 and my final is the F22 thats one sweet Airframe.
and on a final note and as part of my patriotic duty the Harrier for giving the royal navys carriers a purpose
Cheers

quite tough
I ll grade it this way (fighters only)
1st combined
F 22 (stealth) , Mig 29 OVT (multiple nozzle=Amazing manuverability) , Su-37 , JSF all have their own areas of excellence
2nd combined
Su 30 MKI , the eurofighter , Su 34(su 27 later versions), Mig 31 (however its an intercepter )
3rd
Mig 29 (later versions)
4th F 16
5th
Gripen /Rafile
Once the PAK FS comes in I think it wil take the top position unless the US launches something beyong the Raptor
I dont like chinese birds coz they are basically Russian reverse engineered ones......I dont find anything chinese in them except the cheating

The B 52 bomber.

Debaser the B-52 is the best Airplane ever. That thing is sweet. Its what 50 and still going strong. No plane I see will ever match its longevity.
Scariest thing in the world for an enemy is to look up and see a squadron of BUFF's at 30,000ft ready to reek havoc.
As for the others, I see some pretty impressive lists but with some newer planes that havn't exactly proven themselves. F-22 may be a great plane
but name all the kills it has. Same with the Su-37. All we are goiing off of is Public information that is always inflated to make their plane sound
the best. After they get some real combat experience then they will be on my list. Now the F-15, F-18 and F-16 those planes have proven themselfs.
Let me think about this for awhile to get a list up.

how the hell does the Canberra come in 10th if the F111 is in that list then surely theres room for the Tornado. Besides the Canberra isnt even a
bomber anymore but if it was included then surely the Vulcan would knock it off!!

1st F-15 Simply the greatest air superiority fighter ever, and nothing comes close. Slighty dated but very potent.
2nd M-29 One of the most widely produced, best dogfighters and overall effective aircraft ever and still going strong.
3rd Mirage Family Widely produced and very flexible, cost effective, and overall best designs ever, and influenced viturally all other designs
after.
The rest I would say depends on what country your in.
The Americans will say F-22 and F-16, Russians love their SU-27 and MiGs, France adores that Rafale, and the Brits will never give up their
Harrier.

How can you even rank planes that haven't even proven themselves in battle yet? I love the F-22 and the JSF, but you can't rank them in the top ten
all time best, they have to prove themselves first.
1. B-52 50+ years and still wreaking havoc
2. Mig-29 best dog fighter around
3. F-15C and E models (C-2nd best dog fighter, E-multi-role nightmare)
4. F-16 proven worldwide by different countries
5. F-117 Gulf war proof that nothing can see it coming
6. A-10 who else can build a plane around a gun, proven tank killer
7. SR-71 lots of fuel leaks when it lands, but a camera with that speed!
8. F-14 shame it’s leaving but best naval fighter ever
9. Su-27 Cobra maneuver, need I say more
10. F-4 proven multi-role around the world
10. Harrier just no match for vertical takeoff, yet
I have hands on maintenance experience on six of these and have flown the F-16 twice, in the back seat of course. Yea, probably a little bias

My favorite is the A-10 Warthog. To be sitting in a tank and see that beast come over the hill with the tail kicked up and that gun kicking...whoa!
