hey there... i was just wondering what are the 20 things to eat b4 i die??? its just that there is sooo much food out there... some ov it is good and some ov it is bad and i was thinking whats the best out there so that i can taste it b4 i die... not that im going to die soon or anything but im just really hungry right now and i was thinking about food....

20 would take me a while, but my top 5 recommendations....

1. Normandy Tart
2. Cheesecake from a great italian restraurant in des moines, iowa
3. devilled eggs
4. English Fish and Chips
5. Deep Fried Snickers bar - which i have yet to try but it looks tasty!

I always wanted to try Truffles. They are super expensive and are supposed to taste great. A hot dog from the original Nathan's Hot Dogs at Coney Island in NYC was always on my list, too.

I have only 2 things I want to try.
1) Shrooms. ....I mean muSHROOMs....
2) Abalone. ...only because it can cost up to $2000 per serving.

cool... but why would i want a hot dog? i mean is it really that great? the Normandy Tart the Cheesecake and the other stuff sounds good but... the hot dog doesnt...

There's a kind of steak they used on Iron Chef once, cost hundreds per pound, I'd want some of that!

You must be thinking of Kobe Beef. It can go for upwards of $300 per pound.

1) Another Iron Chef food, they called is "Silver of the Forest" and it was a mushroom that was WAY expensive. (haven't had yet)

2) Must try real sushie (Not the fast food/supermarket grub, but REAL stuff from a real sushie chef ) (Have had. LOVE)

3) Escargot. In lots of butter/garlic sauce. (love!)

4) Alligator. Tastes like chicken. Only tougher, but just had to be able to say I have eaten it. (eh...so/so)

5) Outback Steakhouse's Brownie Sunday. MMMMMmmmmmmMMM. Oh, and the bloomin' onion. (hmm, birthday dinner?)

6) Green Eggs and Ham (never tried) Because come'on, we all wondered ever since reading it....

I feel the same way, im a bit of a carnivore, if its a meat I havn't tryed, I got to try it. I didn't actually know it was an edible meat. Im in the mid-west aint many alligators lol. But I found you can order meat online from some sort of alligator farm down south, lol $10-$15 for 1lb of it, aint the cheapest stuff and im not sure about meat in the mail lol... Hopefully il go down south sometime lol..

If I found out I could only eat one more thing before I die, I would pick a candy bar or something....

hmm, you gotta go to new york, go down to soho. first, go get some pizza at lombardi's, then go across the street to rice to riches for rice pudding (best meal combo of my life!!)

real new orleans gumbo and boiled crawfish (and a stuffed artichoke on the side.) but you gotta actually come to new orleans for that one, they dont know how to do it right anywhere else.

sushi!!!

baklava! best dessert in the world, next to rice pudding! gotta love them greeks.

my stepdad's lamb roast. he is an awesome chef.

oh, and godiva liquor!!! cant forget that one. you havent lived until youve tried it!

and fish and chips. put vinegar on the fries too, cuz if you dont, it doesnt count!!!

bad ass beef fajitas

Off Vancouver Island in Canada you can catch a fish called Sockeye Salmon.
Smoked over alderwood on wooden racks in a red cedar smoke house, this is a food that should be reserved for the Gods. Lucky for us they never come to claim it.

Everyone should be so lucky to try this even one time, it is sooooo good.

Haagen Daz (sp?) ice-cream, the best flavour is:

white chocolate ice-cream, rasberry and chocolate truffle.

White truffle pasta

Real fish and chips. From England.

A decent curry.

Real sushi.

Osso Bucco

Black pudding

Spotted Dick

(make your own - the tinned stuff is always inferior)

And a decent moussaka is to die for.

(well. Not literally)
