Increasing rains filling waterways have been a factor blamed for the death of a Florida Man, Kevin Albert Murray, 41, who was attacked as he swam in
the Apollo Waterway, Port Charlotte on Friday evening. The increasing rains have filled waterways, giving access to the alligators to freely roam the
neighborhoods and populated areas. His death takes the total number to 17 fatal alligator attacks in the state in fifty years of recorded data.
