I know this isn't funny, but ...

The poor fellow who 'lost 70 pounds while on the loo' in
the robbery made me kinda snicker. How many of us can
loose 40 pounds while sitting on the loo??

German police are warning that pickpockets are stooping to new
lows by robbing people while they are on the loo.

The thief, in this case believed to be a woman, slipped her hand under
the wall of the cubicle and removed the wallet from the man's trousers,
which were around his ankles.

The man, who lost about 70 pounds in the robbery, said he was unable
to race after the pickpocket immediately "given the situation" and the
fact his trousers were around his ankles.

I always keep my trousers at knee height for many tactical reasons.

#1 Faster elapsed turnaround time.
#2 Cover in the case of unexpected intrusions.
#3 So they do not touch that filthy floor.
#4 The theft/chance that something might fall out factor

I just make it a point to never use a public restroom for that particular bodily function unless it is a dire emergency.

I think in the past 10 years I have used a public restroom twice in that capacity. I know people who, first thing they do when they get to work is to head for the bathroom. Its like thay don't have a toilet at home or prefer to sit down on that nasty, germ laden public toilet.
