Damn, Feb 3 2060.

I went back and re-answered a few questions to see how the results would differ if i changed a variable. So instead of answering "How often do you eat fruit and vegetables" with "Sometimes" (which is the true answer in my case) i changed it too "Very often". My life expectancy decreased by one year! Surely that shouldnt be right?

I think all this test is doing is taking the global life expectancy and then adding or subtracting a few years given on the location you have spent most of your life in, then it gives you a +1 or -1 (sometimes 2) depending on the degree of good and bad lifestyle choices you select.

Actually I think I matter what continent you spent most of your life on, then takes the average life span of a person that sex. Yeah I think I adds or subtracts years on the way you answered the questions. I think its a pretty good indicator considering it doesn't go into you medical record in full depth.

when i said location i meant continent. I changed my continent on the test to Africa and recieved -6 years from my total life expectancy and a +3 when changing to America. Some areas in a continent have higher standards of living than others though, but i guess its still fairly accurate. Your right about the average lifespan of both sexes, i forgot to mention that factor.

Because it belongs in BTS, for one. The same people that are in the BTS are in the ATS, and we all care.

Ok so it probably does belong in BTS, but dont you understand that It didnt know I was posted in BTS? I do searches before for I post to see if they where posted by someone else so I dont take credit from where its due, and not to double post. So what it was posted before, here we already went in to more of a conversation then the link you posted. BESIDES... Its not even the same website ... do you even bother checking things before you make accusations? Of course I know there are the same people on ATS as BTS, Im just saying when people post on ATS they are more serious. So in conclusion please stop talking about my post and that it should be in BTS, you can post what you like about the topic just please stop posting about this.

Sorry everybody for going off topic again, feel free to post about your opinion about the Death Clock. (not the same one as in BTS)

No... same idea but a different approach. My site is much more detailed. If you post one more thing like this you are getting reported, you are not helping the subject matter at all, you seem to be out to kill it.

Speaking of being hit by a truck...

here's the likelihood of death, ranked by odds.

May I suggest that I find a few of these odds to be hilarious. For instance, only 1 in 71 people can get suicide attempts right. And the fact that they have a statistic for death by Space Debris means that it has happened at least once. And for those of you with Selachophobia, the fear of sharks, you may rest assured that yours odds of being killed by a shark are apparently the lowest odds possible. (Next to being killed by Space Debris, of course). And the fact that dying in a hailstorm is 80 times more likely than drowning to death is the most surprising to me.

I cannot vouch for the accuracy of these 100%. Statistics change daily. Additionally once the odds got past 1,000 I began rounding off the numbers. Death from plane crash statistics are pre-September 11, 2001, and also are heavily dependant on the airline and country you are flying in. Anyway, now the part you probably already skipped to...

Dying from Heart Disease----------------6 to 1
Death from a suicide attempt--------71 to 1
Being killed in a car wreck---------81 to 1
Being killed in a hailstorm---------106 to 1
Chance that you were murdered-------197 to 1
Death from falling------------------217 to 1
Being killed by Poisoning-----------344 to 1
Death from Perscription Drugs-------358 to 1
From Hanging or Strangulation-------615 to 1
Death from broken bone--------------1,000 to 1
Stabbed or Cut to death-------------1,700 to 1
Being shot to death-----------------4,000 to 1
Dying in a boating accident---------5,000 to 1
Drowning in water-------------------8,000 to 1
Death as result of Hallucenogins----10,000 to 1
Dying while in the bath tub---------10,000 to 1
Death from Alcohol------------------12,000 to 1
Squished between 2 objects----------30,000 to 1
Death by Bee Sting------------------70,000 to 1
Fatal Elevator Ride-----------------77,000 to 1
Being killed in a Plane Crash-------116,000-25mil to 1*
Killed by a Plastic Bag-------------130,000 to 1
Dying from Operations of War--------200,000 to 1
Being killed by a Dog---------------235,000 to 1
Due to Lack of Air------------------270,000 to 1
Dying from poisonous plants---------1,200,000 to 1
Being Killed by a Tornado-----------2,000,000 to 1
Killed by falling out of Bed--------2,000,000 to 1
Being killed by Lightning-----------2,000,000 to 1
Being killed by Freezing------------3,000,000 to 1
Being killed by a Shark-------------300,000,000 to 1
Living to 116 years old-------------2,000,000,000 to 1
Being killed by space debris--------5,000,000,000 to 1
