Does anyone remember about the beginning of last year there was a guy who claimed to be working for G-mail and found a code that linked it to a
government satellite? He said he brought it up with his boss and was fired for it...
Anyway...I'm not asking for an account, but I am wondering...who was the first 'normal' people to join? Does anyone know? (unless Non-invite
entries were around for a while)

I have all but one gmail invite up for grabs.
In other words, 49 opportunities for you to gmail it up aswell.
I don't know 49 people, so I don't need em.

Invite yourself in various other emails like Yahoo and the potential is endless.
10 yahoo accounts = 10 more gmail accounts = 500 more invites, ad infinetum

Has anyone who has gmail been experiencing an inordinate amount of downtime lately? I have and a friend of mine has. However, another friend here at
work doesn't have a problem at all. I'm guessing I just got lucky and, when I signed up, I got the server that's acting up, while my buddy got his
account saved on a server that's a bit more stable today...
